Anyone have any ideas why? I'm attaching the corrupt (I guess) file. The new file works fine (for now!), but any time I open the old, original file, I get the same error messages and behavior. I was able to "fix" it by creating a new file with the same Garritan instruments (JABB3), copying everything to the new file, and saving it with a new name. "Missing requested fx plugin: Garritan Ambience for final mix slot #1"Īt this point, if I close the file, Finale hangs showing "Not Responding" and I have to force it closed. "Missing requested instrument plugin: ARIA Player for bank #1" Then one day when I tried to play it, I received the following: I was working on a file over a period of days and was able to play it through VST with no problems. The following are a list of triggers that can be used to change the playback sound of any GIFF instrument that supports keyswitches. Alternatively, you can invoke a keyswitch manually – see Adding keyswitches as expressions. When using Human Playback, text expressions or Smart Shapes can be added to "trigger" these keyswitches as part of Human Playback’s interpretation. For example, all "KS" string instruments can play in an arco (bowed), pizzicato (plucked), or tremolo (in rapid succession) style. Also, Note-Attached expressions are recommended for keyswitch expressions.Īny instrument with "KS" in its name (as shown in the ScoreManager or ARIA Player) includes alternate sounds relating to a particular performance technique for that instrument. Make sure Type is set to None under the Playback tab of the Expression Designer dialog box. Noteman says: An expression intended for use with Human Playback should not include a playback definition - Human Playback looks for the text only.
